Welcome back to the BEDB growth show. We are here today with Spectacular Smith. He is the founder and CEO of ad was. Are Spectacular, how you doing it? Amen, hey man, it's going to be great. So an amazing this is great. I am fantastic as well. Had a great weekend,...

...so ready to ready to dive in today, spectacular, we're going to be talking about a really a lot of business development and some of the some of the partnerships that you've been able to develop in the ways that you've been able to grow your agency. AD was are. Before we get into that, I'd love for listeners to just understand a little bit of context around what you and your team are up to at at Addawazar. Can you explain that to us a little bit? Yeah, so what we've been up to over here, I was are, is actually hoping personality brands and inspiring talent and companies get their message out to the world and become famous or social media. We do that through giving them access to team of experts that's going to help them create content, strategy, poop, giving them a proof this strategy and access to to actually actual celebrities and influencers that's going to help this distribute their message out to the world with influence. So they can pretty much get free...

...that to do what they do best, which is, you know, being creative and actually running their companies, are running their brand. I love it. Love it. And so you guys were looks like number two hundred and sixty two on the two thousand and seventeen, ink, Fivezero list of fastest growing companies in America. So you guys are clearly doing doing something right over there. As we were talking offline, just talking about how how you have been able to build a business that's growing at the right that it's growing. You said one of the things that you guys have done that has worked really well is is press and then and then kind of affiliate partnering with other businesses. On a first talk about kind of the the press side of it. What have you guys done that is ended up driving of massive awareness for what you guys do that is ultimately led to business? Yeah, one of the main things we do is really just figure out strategy that that really worked.

Like one of the strategies that out that I actually implement today for my actual company, which is the same strategy that I started from twitter in two thousand and nine, which I actually was old tour because I'm actually a musician too, and we end up getting to sell with this that you fell a platinum record a couple of times and selling like eleven million records. Well, why? One of my guys called me up and it says specky to make money off of my tweetings. I was like, well, that shous to pretty easy and I'm in the studio and on the stage all the time, like Cann Net to be easier than that, but the time only had like literally like fiftyzero followers as a band member and I wanted to come up with creative ways that I know I can actually build a mass of following pretty quickly, and one of those things I came up with was created fan accounts, fan parody accounts of different celebrities. That was hot at the time. So I created Cat Williams, will fare all beyond, say Jay Z, and I...

...was speaking in their voice. So Jayz did its rational quotes beyonce. They love quotes. Cat Williams, Kevin Art and Will Ferrell crack jokes and I end up using the system that I end up gaining from zero to six million follow us within the year time span and I became the top five the advertising dollars on the whole twitter platform. So it took the day with me being with some of my celebrity friends showing Kingson and soldier boy, pretty huge successful pop artist, and earlin artists and he was bragging to each other about how many followers they have on facebook. That would like, well, how many followers do you have on twitter? And he was like, well, a million, and I was like how much you on facebook? There was like five million. It's like wow, so you're telling me that there's time five more viral or facebook and twitter, and it was like yeah, and I was like wow. It's like are you monetizing it? And as was monetizing because ill, right, never mind. So I went home. My Entrepreneur Light Bub went on in my head and I started. I basically like took...

...my attention off on twitter and put it directly on facebook and to my group page, which is named Pretty Ricky, and I I pretty much just took my same formerly that I did from twitter and did from my facebook fan page, and we had no fan page at the time, no facebook at all, and I basically took all the fake pages that was impersonate my group Pretty Ricky, and I merged all of them together and that well, four hundred and Fiftyzero followers total on facebook for page, and I get my same methods that I grew my twitter pages with the zero six million, and I actually did it from my group page called Pretty Ricky. And one of the most successful things I did the strategies that I use for cat called grumpy cat, that I created and make go viral. The cat is actually work on a hundred million dollars right now is in all type of wind macy's and and like Walmart's, like all these different products, and I pretty much made it for...

...virus. So if you ever see the cat telling me, over me some money, yeah, it just give me a shooting email or something. Let me, I mean a couple of dollars from him. But yes, so what happened was I did that same pose, same methods, and I grew my facebook page from four hundred and fifty thousand followers to over four million followers and a year time spending generating or quarter million dollars and a revenue. So we started killing that and I realized that right, cool, I got a system. I could do my scale. So I started taking on one celefty clients and then a couple of years later and there with a hundred, over a hundred celebrity clients. And then it took from me gaining press in the press, telling everybody that, you know, I grew up my clients followers, seventy nine million followers and he did three hundred billion impressions and seven point nine billion post engagements. And like that word got out and everybody was like harrassing me to say spank please, like help me go with social media,...

...help me grow with social media. And now it's like wow, like like I would love to, but you got to have over a million followers to qualify for me to work with you. And it was like respect, I don't have a million followers, but have this making a product, like have this, these amazing speaking videos, like I'm a speaker, I'm an author. You know, I don't have the time, I don't have the capacity, I don't know how to grow a plateaud you know. They're telling me all these things and I'm like, man, I can't help you right. But then the entrepreneur like bulb went on my head again. I was like, well, if I can actually make the amount of money I will make off a page with my minimum requirement to actually join my platform, I could take you on as a client, which is like, you know, if you have account of million followers and I make I'm grant out of that and enough for that. I get fifty percent from our company cut, which is like twenty five hundred. So I was like, well, at least you can pay me at least twenty five hundred minimum. Then I can actually help...

...you grow your social media following. So one side started this viral growth x program which we help grow facebook and instagram pages. Now we have tons of clients that's coming in that that actually wants us to help them with this strategy and and giving them their credibility to make them more at least than competition in the competitors we're crushing there right now. So we got, like, you know, huge clients. You know, we got clients from from speakers to models, to musicians to stylist companies like Zappo's and companies like that that's having a help them grow their social media following and do strategies for them and create content for them to give them that exponential growth that's going to, you know, in return, giving that credibility to then, you know, convert those followers into too clients and Leeds gotta and so so are you creating the content...

...for your clients and then distributing it through kind of a network of influencers? Is that how they're able to grow their following as quickly as they are? Correct? So we have we have different methods that we use and technology that curates content before goes viral. So we have different treasures that get pulled to know that this is going to be viral and then we can get it on our clients pages. Make sure it's take lot in a niche and then once we get that right content, then we use the celebrity distribution channel and different quote pages, Mitch Pages of celebrity verified influencers and we actually use that to then spread the word with other strategies that are really not going to give you the extra sauce, but we have those different strategies. That's proven that we did each different social media channel and it works like a charm. And now...

...we do that not only fos celebrity clients before are micro influencers, expiring talent and personality brands of companies. So is it? Is it a matter of kind of taking those taking those add dollars that they would have typically spent on like facebook ads or twitter ads and instead paying influencers to either like quote them in something or ultimately, like put out some piece of content that ends up tracking people back to your client. Who's WHO's following you're trying to grow right correct. So a lot of people were about spending or facebook ads and you know Google ad words and f Steo, but when especially the audiences. Millenniums, like Millennia, was care about numbers, like I'm a millionnaire. Like if you have a somebody who is awesome when they have like five hundred followers on instagram or facebook, but this other company who is not as good, and you know they're not as good, but they have fifteen thou as it...

...follows twentyzero followers on facebook instagram. Me, as a Millennium, I'm going to say, well, evidently this company is more popular, as everybody love them for a reason, like let me go see what they talked about and let me be a customer for them. And the guy who's actually better than need to get a chance. But perception is reality. If you look like you're not the best, then I'm going to treat you like you the best. expectacular. This is. This has been super helpful. If there's somebody, if there's somebody listening to this, they're they're curious kind of how they can start tapping into influencer marketing, more leveraging the press, like what you've created for your own agency, for themselves. What's the best way for them to stay in contact with you and also learn more about Admaz are. So I actually have a phone number. You can just text me at is seven eighty six, take takes one, one, two, two four. Once again, seven eighty six, take six, one, one, two, two four. All you got to do is put Hashtag ad was are when...

...you take some my numbers, actually my personal number, but we have some technology you built then where if you take certain hashtags you get certain information. So you can just takes Hashtag a Dwi Zare, which don't add was are, which is my company name, or you can just go to add was arecom if you feel like you can qualify for our platform, because we actually turn out more people than we actually own board. You can go on. You so much we can do for so many people. So we really take our people in. You know, we think who who we feel like qualified and who we feel like a world before these type of results that we're going to bring the love it. I love it. Awesome.
